Senior Project and ESLRs

   I think the ESLR that I have concentrated most on while working on my senior project was the Effective User of Technology.

   I have used so much technology, not only in my senior project, but on a daily basis as well. The words I have typed here show an example of technology; I typed them on Microsoft Word. I use the internet all the time, whether it is for research or simply for my own amusement. I have to check both my email and the school blog every day for updates and important notices. The computer has become an important asset in everyone’s lives, not just my own.

   For senior project, I have created a PowerPoint about animation and the importance of character design for school that was meant to explain my first answer to my EQ. I had a few short animations of SpongeBob, Stitch, and Pikachu in my presentation to emphasize my points about a characters powers and personality. I am currently learning to use Maya, a computer program where you can model 3D characters. For my second Independent component, I want to make a short animation sequence, which will require the use of a computer program (possibly Flash, since I am familiar with it) as well.
